Hey devs and friends,

I don’t normally share personal stuff here, but I wanted to be honest about something that’s made development and life really difficult lately.

My partner Daniel’s cancer has returned — it’s now stage 4 liver cancer. He’s about to start another round of chemo and radiation. Before we got help from a cancer support group, we had to put a lot of his early medical costs on a credit card just to get by. We're now trying to pay off that debt so he can focus on healing without the constant weight of financial stress.

I’m still working on game projects (slowly but surely), and I hope to keep creating and releasing things that bring people joy — but right now, caregiving has taken over most of my time.
